Industrial Ecology Platform Concept

WHAT IS IT?
The State of Geneva wanted to create a website to promote Industrial Ecology (IE) and be the first Swiss canton to encourage companies to use IE. Industrial ecology is somehow a cycle that allows to use industrial wastes as new resources instead of losing them.

The brief was to invent a name: related to Geneva, related to IE but doesn’t sound too ecological.

We had to create its visual identity and a B2B campaign. The goal was to raise companies awareness to this new platform and encourage them to us IE. 

WHAT’S THE IDEA ?
The name GERELAY refers to Geneva but also to the fact that IE allows to exchange resources. The logo is simple, with just an arrow in the G to remind of the cycle of IE and to have an icon to use without the entire name.

To stay in the same line, we chose the concept of exchange for the B2B campaign. We used an emotional tone to touch the industrialists by remembering them that they’ve always exchanged, since they were children, so why change now?
